In the wake of their breakup, Pete Wicks has been forced to address accusations from Maura Higgins, who suggested his infidelity was the cause of their split. 

Friends of the Strictly star have come forward to deny the claims, insisting that Pete, 37, was never unfaithful during his relationship with Maura, 34.

According to pals of the former TOWIE star, Pete was not involved in any form of cheating during his romance with Maura. 

They clarified that the texts Maura discovered on Pete’s phone, which she believed were from other women, were merely innocent exchanges with friends and colleagues. 

“The truth is Pete did nothing wrong,” a source revealed. “He has been upfront about his past but did not cheat. The messages were simply innocent communication with friends, not anything sinister.”
