Blake Lively’s lawyer stunned many by revealing Justin Baldoni’s attempts to silence witnesses: He will make sure they stay quiet FOREVER.

Blake Lively is not backing down in her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni, and now,

she claims to have witnesses ready to corroborate her allegations—though they are too afraid to reveal their identities.

According to sources close to the situation, the two cast members from It Ends With Us

who have stepped forward to support Lively’s claims are maintaining their anonymity out of fear of potential backlash.

Fear of Retaliation Keeps Witnesses in the Shadows

Insiders with direct knowledge of the situation tell TMZ that the witnesses remain unnamed because they do not want to endure the same public scrutiny and attacks

that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have faced.

The fear stems largely from allegations regarding Steve Sarowitz, a financial backer of Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios, who allegedly compared his retaliatory plans to Israel’s military campaign against Hamas. Reports indicate that Sarowitz expressed a willingness to allocate substantial resources toward counteracting Lively’s claims, a statement that has sent a chilling message to those considering speaking out.

Baldoni’s Team Calls Allegations ‘Hearsay’

Earlier this week, Lively filed an amended complaint, reinforcing her accusations of sexual harassment against Baldoni. In the filing, she stated that multiple individuals from the It Ends With Us production were prepared to validate her claims. However, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, dismissed the filing as nothing more than “hearsay,” arguing that the so-called witnesses were “clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”

Freedman’s statement emphasized skepticism, questioning the credibility of the allegations without verifiable testimony. “Ms. Lively, Mr. Reynolds, and their paid representatives initiated this campaign, which has severely impacted many private individuals, their livelihoods, and their families,” Baldoni’s camp told TMZ.

“They have yet to show any evidence and continue to blame others for the online vitriol resulting from their own actions,” the statement continued. “Now they are speaking on behalf of alleged third parties who have not come forward themselves.”

Wayfarer Studios Responds to Allegations

The legal battle has taken on a wider scope, pulling in Wayfarer Studios and its executives. The studio denies any wrongdoing and refutes claims that it is engaged in any form of vendetta. Wayfarer has insisted that it holds no ill will toward anyone who chooses to speak out. However, insiders close to Lively maintain that the fear of retaliation from powerful Hollywood figures is real and justified.

Despite the controversy, both Baldoni and Lively appear to be moving forward with their personal lives. Baldoni was recently seen vacationing in Hawaii, seemingly unbothered by the escalating legal dispute. Meanwhile, Lively made a high-profile appearance in New York City for the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special, where she appeared to be in good spirits despite the growing tension surrounding her case.

The Road Ahead: Trial and Public Scrutiny

As the legal proceedings continue to unfold, it remains uncertain whether Lively’s unnamed witnesses will step forward publicly or whether the fear of career repercussions will keep them silent. For now, Lively stands firm in her claims, maintaining that justice must prevail and that her allegations are not without merit.

Meanwhile, Baldoni’s countersuit—a staggering $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist—suggests that he has no intention of settling or backing down. He has also launched a separate $250 million libel suit against The New York Times, accusing the publication of biased coverage that he believes has damaged his reputation.

A court date for the trial has been set for March 2026, with both parties refusing to engage in mediation. The battle between these former co-stars is far from over, and as more details emerge, the case is likely to become even more contentious.

With Hollywood divided over the scandal, the industry watches closely to see if additional witnesses will publicly support Lively’s claims—or if the intimidation tactics she alleges will keep them in the shadows. Regardless of the outcome, this high-profile case serves as yet another example of the complexities and power dynamics at play in the entertainment world. As Lively and Baldoni prepare to face off in court, one thing is clear: this legal war is only just beginning.
