Harry Styles disclosed plans to take legal action against the SNL cast after being publicly humiliated: I never thought I’d feel this ashamed…

Chloe Fineman is known for her spot-on celebrity impressions, but even the most talented impersonators have their limits.

The Saturday Night Live star recently revealed that her attempt at mimicking Harry Styles didn’t quite hit the mark—and the singer himself was there to witness it firsthand.

Fineman’s Worst Impression? Harry Styles

Fineman, a regular cast member on SNL since 2019, has wowed audiences with her ability to transform into celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Nicole Kidman, and Britney Spears.

However, during a recent interview on the red carpet for the SNL50: The Anniversary Special, she admitted that there’s one star she simply can’t nail—Harry Styles.

Speaking with comedian and Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg, Fineman confessed that her attempt at imitating the former One Direction star was a disaster.

She described it as “really bad” while playfully testing out her British accent alongside the English YouTuber.

Apparently, Styles himself got to see her impression in person, and his reaction made it clear that he wasn’t a fan.

“I did it, and he was at the table,” Fineman recounted. “And [he] was so devastated by how bad it was.”

To demonstrate, she launched into a low, sluggish version of an English accent, saying, “Anyway, I’m Harry Styles, anyway,” in a deep, almost sleepy tone.

Dimoldenberg, ever quick-witted, jokingly responded, “Sorry, is Harry in the room right now?”—a playful nod to how off-the-mark the impression sounded.

Styles Wasn’t the Only Star She’s Hesitant to Impersonate

Fineman’s admission about her Styles impersonation comes just after she revealed that there’s another celebrity she’s hesitant to parody—rising pop star Chappell Roan.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she acknowledged that she “might” have an impression of Roan up her sleeve, but she isn’t ready to bring it out just yet. Her reasoning? She has too much “respect” for the Good Luck, Babe! singer to attempt it at this stage.

Roan, known for her theatrical performances and distinctive voice, has quickly become one of pop music’s most talked-about new artists. Fineman’s reluctance to impersonate her suggests that some stars hold a special place in her heart—too special to turn into a comedy bit, at least for now.

Chloe Fineman’s Rise as a Master Impersonator

Since joining SNL, Fineman has become one of the show’s go-to impressionists, consistently delivering uncanny portrayals of A-list celebrities. Her ability to channel the mannerisms, voices, and quirks of Hollywood’s biggest names has earned her widespread acclaim.

Styles’ Reaction Adds to His Playful Reputation

Though Fineman’s impression may not have landed, Styles’ reaction is in line with his well-known playful and charming personality. The singer, who has a great sense of humor, has often been the subject of impressions and parodies, from James Corden’s skits to various internet memes.

However, it seems Fineman’s version was just too off-the-mark for the As It Was singer to enjoy.

What’s Next for Fineman?

Despite this impression misstep, Fineman continues to be one of SNL’s biggest breakout stars. Her comedic range, combined with her talent for transforming into celebrities, has made her a standout on the show.

With SNL entering its 50th year, Fineman will likely continue delivering the impressions fans love—just don’t expect to see her taking on Harry Styles again anytime soon.
